Hey guys. I'm new to this and I'm curious if you guys think this is a good overall turtle hermit build or if I need to change it. All feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

hmmm, meanwhile you are lvling, no, use them. But at lv 70 (or lower lv, around lv 40-50) you should forget them and get the masterclass skills, because are way stronger skills  ^-^

Would an energy-based fighter be on par with a turtle hermit as far as damage output goes or is it a no contest? kinda debating but i know i want something that can be flashy and can fill any role needed as far as damage and possible tank

I don't think such builds exists, either you are a PvE god or a PvP god, or a bit of each.

Yeah! The pvp one, rocks on pvp, and lets you pve pretty well since for pve you almost just need your kames, kok, buffs, stun, and maybe some debuffs like weaken defense and slow  :))

I don't think such builds exists, either you are a PvE god or a PvP god, or a bit of each.

Now that I think of it, Turtle doesn't really have anything that can make it vary in PvP and PvE Strength huh  :r_rightsmil:

I don't really understand the passive buff, "Increase Persisted Damage" what does it do?
There are some skills that besides of dealing damage, can deal a Damage over Time (DoT skills) like burn, poison, bleed, and abdominal pain, this DoTs deal "x" damage each 2 seconds.
That passive buff increase the damage of the skill and its DoT as well.

Lets take Turtle Rod Impale at 5/5, it has:
Phy dmg: 356% and 309 burn dmg each 2 sec
Now if you max IPD you will have extra 22% damage for all DoT skills that you have, we have TRI and it will be upgraded like this:
Phy dmg: 356%*1.22= 434% and 309*1.22=377 burn dmg each 2 sec

Don't bother leveling the 2nd passive in the Turtle Hermit tree (3 SP for 57 Energy Attack? Better off having DoT maxed).

Estentially, you want Turtle Rod strike and Spirit Rod maxed because of the decrease in movement and the damage (which is critical against fighters/swordsmen in PvP).

The build I linked also does well in PvE with Consecutive Disks and both Kamehameha waves maxed out doing big damage in PvE.

Attack Speed Shackle could be a viable option as well in PvE but you'd have to alter a few of the PvP skills.

Combat fighter using attack speed, rotate between both skills keeps them in an infinite loop of not moving (in combination with slow). I tried it on fighters at tournaments, worked well
