Hello guys, (lemme just get straight to the topic)

I was thinking of some changes in the Day and Night system of DBOR, which is under the interest of developers of this game. I was thinking of making the mobs more stronger and vicious at night and some more attributes. Also, sleep ? How about that?

Like, you need to have at least 8 hours of sleep at night or something (Here your sleep period would be taken as the difference b/w your last log in period and recent log in period), or a bit less . If you don't have enough sleep then you would be sleepy and your hit rate and attack speed would gradually decrease. Also high chances of faint in b/w battle (depending on your fatigue).


For some this idea may sound like complete worthless, but let's be creative... let's suggest something new ! Which we wanted in the past DBO ! Something different, right?

Mobs getting a little stronger at night = yes ...i like that
sleep = not needed xD ..don't like that :D

Also for the mob part...what about making them at night a little bit stronger and increase drop rate a little bit...not too much...since they get stronger it also should be worth it to kill them by increasing the drop rate a bit. But dunno about that part. Pretty sure the Team will do it right.

just my thinking about this stuff...would be ok if the mobs would just become a little bit stronger... ;D

Increased drop rate....? Sounds like fun !! ;)  And Sleep... awww....let's wait for more reviews, and how New Boss at night only!?

Special Night Boss..., much like "Area-boss" , with "Ultra" rank, and have good drops if killed :D

I like mobs being stronger at night. And increased drop rate. Sleep would mess it up because what if one person doesn't go to sleep but one does. It would mean the people are in different time periods. This means the mob will be stronger for one person and not the other.

Great Ideas though.  ;D Especially mobs being stronger at night.

I like the idea of making mobs stronger at night!!! +1

It would mean the people are in different time periods. This means the mob will be stronger for one person and not the other.
That. I say that each channel should have its own time zone, so no matter where you live you could log into any channel and play in the day or relog into another to play in the night so its equal for everyone ^-^

DBOR should have it's own clock , for unified timing for all of the players ;) , any opinions on the Night Boss?

A day/night system wouldn't reflect a 24 hour clock anyways.

If it were to be implemented, for example, the day cycle would last for 2 hours and the night cycle for 2 hours.

This way, regardless where you live, you can experience both within a reasonable amount of time.

D:  .......... Night boss..? Any idea about that....? I've been seeking opinion on this one for a while....

Could be an irregular boss, and totally community driven.
i.e, Community chooses boss that should be spawned from a list, and for a week/month that boss is spawned, during night times by GM/Admin.

That's how i'd imagine we'd do it anyhow.

You mean about the boss? Or the night merchant? Or the sleep , or the night mode? Sleep has been taken to the different route by Keredvin as sleeping only when we log out. If that's what he meant? And getting special rewards when we get back (only at towns)

I think the major obstacle here is the timezones. For example, I am from gmt. If the server is on a different timezone, like gmt +12 (to make my explanation easier). I can only play from, for example, 2 pm to 5 pm. It will be night time on the server, so I have to fight stronger mobs and have an higher drop rate. But if I can only play at night, that means I cannot fight the boss, won't fight stronger mobs nor will the mobs have a greater drop rate.

But it is a good idea, and a positive change. And probably the team could do something about this problem. Like an item that would take you to the boss when nighttime reached your timezone or something like that (I believe there are easier solutions and I might be overthinking.).
Am I allowed to be an edgy emo teen girl even though I'm a male adult?

I agree, that is a fantastic addition to that game, and to be able to do it when you need to instead of waiting for it is fantastic.
I wonder what they did to get the sound though, that's also 11/10.
