    you get 19+1+14+20+1 = 55 = 5x5 =25. Now mirror the number 25 and you get 52 = 5-2 = Illuminati pyramid has 3 sides. Santa = Illuminati confirmed!

So I got these adds called Assist Point Ads. I usually don't use AdBlock on the forums to support the proyect but I've been forced to today because these ads keeps popping up in my Google Chrome everytime I load a site. AdBlock won't completely remove them though, a black box with "Assist Point Ads" somewhere in it will appear and stay there for a few secs before AdBlock can remove it completely.

How do I get rid of this plague? I get like 4 or more ads everytime I load a site if I don't enable AdBlock and even if I do I'll get 3 at least. I got these some time ago and they dissapeared by themselves but I recently had to use Internet Explorer and all these ads popped up there and somehow Chrome got the dissease too. I'm trying to get rid of this permanently.

This is how it looks without disabling AdBlock:

With ABP on I just get the bottom 3 completely black one after another in random orders but they do dissapear by themselves like I mentioned earlier.

Edit: Forgot to mention the ads are not limited to the DBOR site. They were on every single site I visited.

Hopefully it doesn't have anything to do with the fact the website went offline a few hours ago for no reason at all.

Although if it appears in your browser even after you've closed the website, that means you got infected with a driveby applet probably, and you have adware in your computer. I don't get these ads at all.

I don't think that's from the site.
I haven't gotten hit with anything like that (although, granted... I'm using Firefox).
Is it appearing only on here, or does it appear on other sites, too?

Like SantiHN said, it's possible you got hit with some unfavorable stuff.

Try using this: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/index.aspx
It doesn't have a 100% chance of detecting that stuff, but it works pretty well.

Another possibility is something less than savory installed in your browsers' add-ons, so you'll have to sort that one manually.  :-\

Hope that helps you.

Those are definitely not from this website. I've had adblock off since the website was created in 2014 and never had any bouts of those annoying ads.

Have you tried using AdwCleaner yet?
It might solve your issue. And perform some virus scans as well.

in english: You should go to Control Panel / Internet networks and change the homepage for (www.google.es) if you are using explorer. also go ala tab above, and the browser icon in the nut manage add-ons and disable all or take away, unless the translator bing.

in google chrome: you would have to go up top right wing and remove all but the translator extensions

once done you would have to do what you got up first and finally get off or malwarebytes or trojanremove and run one of these after having done all the steps, I hope you Sirba friend. no other way when your browser habre the name you leave you well (https://www.google.es/?gws_rd=ssl and if you see other words delete the rest and then go to settings and delete all history, then do the first thing to change page and put (www.google.es) greetings friend aver if you are well arranged. :)

IKR? They must be buying Alienwares with those 0.11 dollars per click all day erry day. The adware is paying them because it got adware on some guy's computer.

I forgot to mention the ads were not from this site. They popped up in every single site I visited.

Turns out a program installed itself on my laptop and it also added an extension to all my browsers and the extensions were the ones giving me the ads.

The extension is supposed to google stuff related to what you're browsing online and suggest other sites but the thing pops up a million ads and usually only one is related to the site you're browsing and the others are just spam.

Anyways, I fixed it and there's the solution above in this same reply for anyone that gets this problem so I'll just close the thread.
