    you get 19+1+14+20+1 = 55 = 5x5 =25. Now mirror the number 25 and you get 52 = 5-2 = Illuminati pyramid has 3 sides. Santa = Illuminati confirmed!

Before you answer the poll, read this. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me, but yeah if you do I'm not dead nor have I abandoned the forums. Also if you do remember me, I'm glad people actually read my posts ^_^.

Anyway, I decided to take the first episode of the Majin Buu saga in Dragon Ball Kai and convert it to 60FPS. I really want to know if you prefer the converted version of the episode, or the original.

Here is the original: http://kissanime.com/Anime/Dragon-Ball-Kai-2014/Episode-099?id=66306
Here is the version that I converted:

Watch the one I converted to 60FPS on Google Chrome at 720P60FPS or you wont see the difference. Anyway, answer the poll now ^_^.

Let me explain why this is pointless to the best of my knowledge.

60 frames per second might be ideal when you're dealing with computer animation or video games, but it wouldn't really do anything for Dragon Ball. It's a very cheaply made anime and there are far less than 60 frames of actual animation per second.

My dad's something of an animation buff and really enjoys their animated films. He's able to point out very easily that there's an enormous difference between the anime I watch -- even Studio Ghibli films -- and a Disney movie. To give you a rough idea of what I'm talking about, traditionally animated Disney films are at 12 frames per second. Dragon Ball, I've realized from .gif making, is animated at a variable frame rate with regards to actual frames of animation as opposed to the number of frames the DVD will play every second.

Since the actual animation is moving at less than 12 frames per second, upscaling the frame rate wouldn't do anything. That's because there are only so many frames that are actually animated in the first place. In other words, if you wanted 60fps to do anything at all, you'd need the series to have more actual frames of animation in the first place. Unless you intend to draw those frames, that means it's doing nothing.

Off season for VGC Pokémon due to hating the current meta and competitive format, but will still do doubles; Ganondorf main in Smash 4 Wii U and 3DS; G1 Rank Sword & Shield in MH4U

Unless you intend to draw those frames, that means it's doing nothing.

I've finished some basic animation program courses and and I know the basics for animation. Everything you say matches with my basic animation knowledge.

I does look a little better but the difference is not that much since there's not many animated elements to take advantage of that 60 fps. I was told an average anime from the year 2000 or newer usually has about 15 FPS while a Disney movie could have around 30 FPS. I might be wrong here since this was told to me by a friend that likes animation too but hasn't even studied a course like me.

If DB had more movement per second, increasing the FPS would make it cooler but the thing with this anime is that they move once every 10 seconds (I know I'm exagerating), except for their mouths when they talk, so increasing the FPS won't improve much since there's no animated movements to see in those added frames per second.

Gonna vote "Yes!" on the poll since it does look a little better but it's not really that big of an improvement in my opinion.

I'm going to upload more episodes so once I get to the fights you can see if there is a bigger difference.

Some of you guys are saying there isn't a big difference. I really feel like my eyes are a lot more at ease watching the 60FPS version. Even if you think it's not better, is it more comfortable watching?

It's a little more Fluid on some scenes, but also stutters, especially when the camera is panning.
I prefer the Original Version. Looks better imho.

I thought it was forbidden to post illegal stuff on here? You're essentially uploading full episodes... O.o

The stuttering was probably the way I rendered it. It's non profit so if the owners want to get rid of it, they can. I checked the rules section and didn't see this making this post against the rules.

A video game with 30 FPS vs a game with 60 FPS is a HUGE difference. Compared to that, this difference in DBZ with 60 is very little. It's still better looking for the eye but you can't benefit as much from it as you could from a game.

I see a significant difference and I'm sure others do as well. Put them side by side or you wont be able to see it. If you think it's minimal, you obviously didn't analyze it enough.

I would most definitely watch the entire series in 60FPS, 74 times in a row, if they would publish it.

No kidding haha.
