My Wii Remote isn't working, first it turns on for a few minutes, but then it turns off, does anyone know how to fix it?
PS: It's synced and I don't want to buy another because is the special edition remote that came with TLOZ: Skyward Sword.

You might want to get a new battery pack, see if that helps.

Has anything caused it damage? Like being dropped, or something like that?

Hm, I'm not sure then. I have some problems with one of my Wiimotes, it only works as a second player wiimote if I try to use it to turn on my Wii it won't and all that happens is the four lights that indicate which player the wiimote is being used by light up then turn off. Is it like that with yours?

It works for a short time and then it turns off, tomorrow I'm going to open it and check if it has a problem inside.

If that doesn't work, I would recomend taking it in to see if you can get it repaired.

If you have a friend you could also try to use it with another wii , or maybe it is a syncing problem and you should try to re-sync it maybe . Though it wouldnt explain why it disconnects. You might be out of luck on that one. Have you not used it in forever?

Didnt your parents tell you not to play with me? Youll get burned.

I used it on Sunday and worked perfectly, but when I tried to use it today it didn't work. I will re-sync it with my other Wii tomorrow, maybe it works...

1. Unplug the Wii from the back of the console;
2. Unplug the antenna from the back of the console;
3. Replug the antenna;
4. Replug the power;
5. Open the battery compartments on the remote (s)
6. Push and Hold red reset button on the front of the Wii for 15 seconds;
7. Push the red button inside the battery compartment of one remote; it will flash lights for a few seconds then reconnect.
8. If BOTH remotes are not working; repeat steps 6 & 7 for the next remote
If none of that works

If it comes down to you needing to buy a new wiimote, you can always just open up both of them if you have the appropriate screwdriver and swap the controller boards.
