The tower aint black,its just night with only moonlight up(shadows making it look blackish)

It's likely some evil version of Korin Tower that was never implemented, seeing as there were Dark Namekians and namekians are directly linked to Korin tower. (Kami, Dende)

Pretty much this, the lore made it like something along those lines while it was also going to be a future UD. The developers forgot about it though in favor of teaching our pets skills >.>

Wow, that's a good response, I can remember the dark nameks from the red map, at start I think that was the Korin Tower, but there were the Korin Tower on front

Yea, the developers were more interested in giving us a pokemon experience than that of dragon ball.

Yeah wasn't it supposed to be a high level dungeon, but NTL didn't really spend time on that, did they. They spent more time making DBO more like pokemon with the pets.
