Natsu VS Ace

For arguments sake we are going to put each character at their peak condition for the fight. It is a fight to the death in an isolated location where no one else can get involved or be remotely affected. Although they can not use powers they do not have mastery over. So no dragon force for Natsu, and no Haki for Ace.

Some character background...

Natsu Dragneel

Natsu has the ability to summon fire from his limbs in many shapes and forms. He generally uses it to augment his physical attacks, such as adding force to his punches and kicks by adding fire too them to increase the force at which he hits. He can also use his fire magic from his feet to augment his jumping distance. His attacks are usually able to destroy large buildings with ease.

He has the ability to breath fire much like a dragon. It is usually powerful enough to knock the opponent back a great distance. He can also absorb fire by "eating" it and gaining increased strength depending on the strength and amount of fire, He can not eat his own fire attacks.

He can also add lightning magic to his fire attacks, but has yet to be seen using this magic alone. By using the fire and lightning attacks together he becomes extremely strong, but also depletes his stamina quite fast.

Portgus D. Ace



Like Natsu Ace has the power to shoot fire from his limbs. Although Ace takes this a step further, by also being also being able to transform his body into flames at will to avoid physical dmg. Ace can be hit by attacks that would "hurt" flames though, such as an opposing or stronger element

Ace is proficient in hand to hand combat, but prefers to fight at medium-long range using his fire abilities. His attacks can vary from precise shots of fire similar to a bullet, to rather huge explosions.

I'll add some more in-depth abilities tomorrow. I'm tired and cant think straight.

Yeah... Natsu wins this. The second Ace turns into fire the battle is over. Even if Ace doesn't turn into flames Natsu can eat all of Ace's attacks continually sapping his strength. Ace cannot win.

Pretty much this. ANY attack that Ace would give to natsu wouldn't effect him because he would just eat all of his attacks, which by eating the same element of a dragon slayer heals them and makes them have more power. Basically Ace would just constantly be feeding him an unlimited source of energy until he gets tired.

But Ace wouldn't keep throwing fire attacks at Natsu once he realized it could be absorbed. also there is the question could Natsu even hit Ace? Would his flame attacks even hurt Ace?

Well it is easy to tell.
Natsu can't hit Ace, no HAKI.
Ace feed Natsu with fire, and then Natsu after eating too much flames, fall down. LOL hahaha

idk who's better in hand to hand combats but natsu cant hit a logia type without haki so ace wont get hurt ... if ace duels only with his hands without fire natsu wont get energy .... and if ace is better in hand to hand combat i think ace wins all hail ace xD ........ p.s btw in fairy tail they get the "power" from love and shit xD if there is no fairy tail member getting hurt natsu wont get "serious"
