The only way I can think of getting op stuff without cashing is crafting but it's so long they should definately improve crafting.

hi all,
how will the craft in DBOR?

I hope that shit is gone, it was so tedious to get to level 30, it literally took ages and it was only worth it for the craft armor... -.-

took me a couple days to get to lvl 25, and after that I asked myself while I was crafting, " Am I going to die here?"

well Ren.....then i really have to say you missed something awesome xD

Crafting stuff by your own was kinda nice although you needed much luck to get the effect you wanted. But hey....for what silver boxes were there? (ok not for everyone lol xD)

Hope you'll learn in DBOR to craft yourself :D I myself enjoyed to craft although i never had much luck and got so many rage moments...but at the end i had the stuff i wanted :D

  • The blade is the only way.
I think crafting was really good for the whole DBO economy, and it should be implemented in DBOR. The armors were very useful, especially for "single player" mode. I wonder if the devs are able to improve the system in any way? My suggestions are:

-Maybe include a little percentage of chance that your crafted gear could be "legendary" rate, not just up to "rare".

-Make armors available in "switched" versions too (I remember every armor was available in one type, like physical def for humans and energy def for nameks etc.)

+1: It would be really cool if there was a very rare item (one for armor, one for weapon), which can raise the rate of the item it has been applied to (example: rare --> legendary)

+1.1: I was thinking about this feature even when I started DBO in 2011. Dogi creator. Now at first glance this may sound hard to create, but hear me out. There could be a small window with a column of 3 brackets (top for armor, middle for pants, bottom for shoes). You can add any type of shitty normal gear to it (but there were some COOL LOOKING shitty normal gear in the game IMO). You press the generate button, and it combines the stuff into one dogi which now you can put into your dogi slot.
This way every player could look more unique (remember, this is a dogi, you can still put on OP gear under it), without actually adding a whole new stuff into the game, since the armor/pants/shoes are already in the game.

Some good suggestions, I always wondered why you could not craft legendary gear but the base stats on rare crafted equipment was devastating enough so I can see why.

The dogi creator is not a bad idea, I too had some lower level gear that looked epic but could hardly wear it due to it being useless. While I was playing Tera, I believe I came across a costume remodel system which lets you take the look of low level gear and transform your PvP/PvE gear so it has your desired look. A feature that could potentially be implemented but not for sometime.

  • Fast forward to launch day of DBOR please!

I liked the crafting system, if you had enough zeni then it didn't take that long to get to lvl 20.
lvl 20-25 took some time and I eventually got to lvl 27. lvl 25-30 takes a long time but that's okay, didn't want it to be easy because then everyone would do it.

It will also give people something to do when they reach the lvl cap,  they can start preparing gear for there characters when they lvl up.

Yes?

Yes, something like that. I meant you could add armor, pants and shoes, and the "Dogi generator" creates a dogi out of those things (losing the added 3 items). This way you can put on the added clothing like a dogi, without actually equipping them as regular armor/pants/shoes. It would give everyone a much more unique look.

Let's say you like the look of the kickass lv 65 human blue/gold dragon jacket-pants-shoes from quests, but you don't need the stats, just the look. You put the 3 items into the dogi generator, which molds them into a single custom dogi (the inventory icon could be just the jacket). When you equip this, you will appear to wear that clothing, but you can still put other gear "under it" - since it now functions as a dogi.

I'm not really into programming, just a little bit, and I don't know how the game code handles dogis, but I'm sure there is a relatively easy method of doing this, and there isn't any new content needed.

I've seen something like this in Cabal online, but that conversion only lasted like 1-3 days.

crafting was cool ...especially for armors..instead of waiting to drop something OP ( 0.0....0001 %) or somehow getting silver boxes , this was a time savior and ..they kinda looked nice...well ..not the pants ..they were gay >.>

Dumke no disrespect but aren't you supposed to be making the game?
wtf...?
You are using HIS forum, you are waiting for a game that he and everyone in the team is making out of their own free time, you can be patient. He can manage his forum and listen to what the people want in the game, he can also relax and take a break. This game doesn't have to be made.

Ive never really crafted much (I could still use help on that) But from what i heard from others it was really useful.
Craft gear was insanely good. High defense, and good stats (sometimes). Loved it.

I had always heard about crafting but never understood it cause I could never find a guide then at that time. That being said I love crafting in mmos and am happy I will be able to try it in game.
