Why are other languages than english, considered as foreigners?

Is DBOR based somewhere where english is the main language?

Either way, even if it i based in the UK, US is also foreigner.

This is confusing.

I'm australian, my main and only fluent language is english.

That is why it's based on English, even though you consider UK and US are different they still follow the same understanding.

Then US, UK, South Africa, Singapore, etc... Are all foreigner. Thus, by following the same logic, these should be included in the foreign as well.

This confuses me because I speak several languages and do no live in my country of origin.

I suggest that no language should be considered as foreigner but as non-english. English is not a language of only 1 country. It's a world language. Therefore in this context "foreigner" makes no sense.

If you don't speak english, I can say you're a foreigner.

"a person from outside one's community."

the community being the english language.

But you're right i can pull that card, you're all foreigners to me.

You can now change specific pages to any language supported by google's translation API/Tool.
(Once you choose a language, every page after during your browser session will be translated to that language also)

I believe this will help cover what the already existing language tools fails to cover.
