So I recently was introduced to a Super Smash game called "Project M". Here's the catch: Nintendo didn't release it. It's completely fan made.

And I have to say...for a fan made game this game is AWESOME. It'd be an understatement if I said "This game is simply a cross between SSBM and SSBB". If you wanted to be 100% truthful in describing the game, it's a lot more than just a cross between the two. But for simplicity's sake, let's describe the game out like that.

You see, they've taken brawl and applied melee physics to it so you fall faster, can wavedash, etc. As well, they've added old characters like Mewtwo and Roy back into the roster so you can play as them! They even changed existing character movesets like Snake's or Pit's.

I don't wanna keep typing a wall of words so just check it out on your own for the rest of the description:

And if you notice...poketrainer, zelda, sheik, and characters like that have been split up so you can select them seperately.

Well that's the main introduction of this game anyway. Has anyone else heard/played this game before?
I think playing this game is a great way to release your hype for SSB4 by the way :P

Heh heh, modding Brawl in general was fun, but this is definitely an impressive peace of work.

It's too good to fly under the radar. Nintendo is gonna see this and say "Oh HELL no!"

I don't support it mostly because its a fan made game and people are just stuck in the past. I tried playing it at a friends house, and although some ideas are cool it also has its flaws, as I felt the controls were unresponsive in comparison to brawl.

I agree and disagree with you here. I'm playing this game very frequently nowadays and I know what you mean by unresponsive. However, I feel like it's not the game's fault...it's more so that players are used to brawl and their "timing" in terms of inputting of buttons. I think I'm getting the hang of it now since I've been practising with this game...but it's hard to change from brawl (a more slow paced game) to Project M.
