Hi everyone here is Booty  ;D. Im gonna talk about Skill resets in this game.

Skills resets previously were only possible at NPCs until a certain level, then you would need either brown books for a skill point or a green one for a full. It was BS honestly and i think this is something that should have stayed as fee at NPC. Im not saying the books should disappear because they could be usefull to reset without metting a NPC, like at the entrance of a dungeon or something.

I made a poll for you guys too, but honestly I just made it to see if I know how to use this properly.

I agree. With reset books everyone was afraid of trying new skills and everyone had the same build.

yes it would be cool if you pay a certain amount to the npc (not very high) and reset their skills at any lvl. So users would not fear to err points in their builds.

If we have higher level, at npc mutch more prize reset skill points. Or he reset only 5 with 1 hour cd :D
And i think more ponts at skills not 2-3 they have 6-7 about 4-5 increase dammage, but i put them 6-7-8 decrease dammage, ep cost but receive stun them.
Or i put 9-10, i became master this skill, this will be lowest cd or high rp values, or rp accumulation when i use it or higher range...etc.
I should be choose more ways my skills tree, more dps skills or some stun or everything.
and i think will be more pont at block skill and counter attack, because wen i block i not can use my skills only i gain some def and resistance and low rate counter attack.
If wrong the caracter skills, then he can build deff car some stun skill or something i think will be better.

And i think sould be basic stat passive skills. If someone need more str, life...etc, he put some ponts them, but this passive skills not high value, only if i need more lp i can improve it.

This is the same idea I had. We have skill reset npcs for a reason. Skill reset books were cash items which was just another way to squeeze money out of players. It should stay at the NPC but make the fee a much higher amount depending on the economy once you pass lvl 30.

Hell yeah skill reset NPC would be a huge thing, THO... i think thatswitching builds too often might give an advantage in some ways, so i suggest that the price become higher after every reset, capping at a huge amount like 50 millions ? 1st reset = 1 million, 2nd = 2 etc.

A problem I always saw with DBO was that denying the game to sink money with NPCS and the fact of being able to sell the books screwed the game balance. The money would still flow in the game and with that youngsters players after 30 had to spend decent amount of money in their eyes just to fix skills. Buying from NPC is core element thats for sure. I would not mind being able to also buy from the same NPC for a little bigger fee binded books, would be a tradeoff between money and the comodity of the player being able to reset skills without travelling back to a NPC

I think a small zenni fee is the best bet, as one of the greatest parts of any MMO is testing out all the skills. (DCUO is a good example of the system that should be in place.)

I think the skill reset book should be priced relative to other mmo's such as wow
