    you get 19+1+14+20+1 = 55 = 5x5 =25. Now mirror the number 25 and you get 52 = 5-2 = Illuminati pyramid has 3 sides. Santa = Illuminati confirmed!

You could probably find one of the Fallout games on Steam for that price (maybe even with some DLC).
Or possibly Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. You should be able to get the Game of the Year edition for cheap.

If your laptop can handle it. I don't know what kind of hardware you've got.

So as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works."

Glad I could help.

You can get a lot of mods for it too. Just google Fallout Mod Nexus (you'll have to make an account, but it's free).
There's some great ones out there.
If you go for Fallout 3, I suggest "Ties That Bind". I'm not very far in it, but it's really good thus far. It gives your protagonist a sister character right out of the gate. You may need the script extender (FOSE), but it's worth it.

Even though they're great and single player, I wouldn't recommend any of the Elder Scrolls or Fallout titles for long-term offline play. Part of the appeal for those games is the mods and trust me, you'll want to at least install the bug-fix mods for them. If you find something you like with modding, you'll probably start tweaking things around. Also, BOSS, (Better Oblivion Sorting Software, which works with most Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles, contrary to the name) which you'll probably use to make sure your mods are all in the correct load order, doesn't work offline. If you're fine with the vanilla game, it's okay. I've played at least a bit with the vanilla versions of Fallout: New Vegas and Oblivion, but they're much better with the proper mods, especially those that fix bugs in the game.

Still, western RPGs are probably the best single-player game you're going to find for bringing your computer on vacation. Just be careful with the mods and make sure you're within earshot of a Wi-Fi hotspot and you should be fine.

If you're interested in shooters to any degree, Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm is something I keep getting recommendations on. It just went off sale on Steam, which is a shame, but it's still pretty cheap -- $20 last I checked. It's a realistic WWII shooter, but apparently it's really good at evoking emotion. I've seen a few people refer to it as "PTSD simulator", which honestly wants to make me buy it, but I can't justify spending that much money when it just went off sale. I'm not into shooters, but I do love attention to historical accuracy and player emotional value.

I don't have too many games on steam but I can suggest a few:

- Borderlands 2
- Counter Strike:Global Offensive
- Saints Row 2
- Saints Row: The Third
- Bioshock Infinite

Honestly, I'd recommend Fallout 3 goty edition too, as that's a lot of hours and a pretty decent game all around. I'd have to agree with modding it while you can. My personal favorite one is Light Up And Smoke Those Cigarettes, I have no idea why they put so many drug options and even my favorite thing to do (cannibalism) into the game, even going so far as to have cigarettes lying everywhere but you couldn't smoke. I don't understand it at all. Oh and the Gary*1 companion mod is just lovely.

If you like cute shit as much as me*2, you'd love Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. It's a Store running simulator that doubles as a pretty good action RPG. Capitalism Ho !

Mark of The Ninja is a lot of fun too. It's a side scrolling stealth game that's just done really well.

*1note: Gary Gaary Gary haha Garrry Gary !
*2note: You don't love cute shit as much as me.

Amazing game. I own the whole series and highly recommend any of them, but Arkham City and Origins are my favorites.

You SHOULD however, save your money until the summer sale starts. Shit gets crazy.

I've honestly found myself just buying my PC games for the year during the semi-annual Steam sales. I'm a sucker for a bargain and I can't really justify buying games during any other time of the year. If I can find it for less than retail price, you can bet I'm not going to pay retail price.

There's great sales all the time on Steam. It's like they actually care about their customers or something.

Unless you have limited access to the internet like I used to. Then they're just a bunch of jackasses 'cuz you can't just install the game you already paid for without a connection.

I don't see how that is their fault at all.
Blame internet/cable companies or your family.

I do blame the internet providers. But I meant it's idiotic to have to connect to the internet to install a game off a disc.
I already paid for it. It's mine. I should be able to play the damn thing.

Then when you install the game, you have to download a patch to make it playable offline.

That's what I was getting at.

I'm talking about buying a game disc that requires you to "activate" it on Steam.
Fallout NV, Skyrim, and Resident Evil 6 are all games I own physical copies of, but I still needed to connect to the internet just to install the.

That's what I'm saying is frustrating. I bought these game physically. I shouldn't have to connect to the net to install them.

You can blame outdated copyright laws for that. Companies are grasping at straws trying to keep their content out of the hands of pirates, giving birth to a plethora of unnecessary and ineffective DRM policies.

And ultimately, more piracy.
The bigger the stink they make out of it, the more the piracy is gonna occur.
And look at how many times anti-piracy services implemented in programs have blown up in the faces of developers.
