Here's a thought.

Would it be possible to have setting where we can turn off getting exp from mobs? I can think of a few situations where I would love to not gain exp and lvl up from killing mobs.

1) Gloves or Staff quest inside RP HQ Ruins which people want to use in kid budokai, its like lvl 28 or 29 quest I think.
2) Find a good place to db hunt, but it's only good for my lvl. I don't want to lvl up and decrease my drop rate

I'm not suggesting taking exp off from quests with the click of a button because that would be too much work imo, but if we could turn off exp gained from mobs when we don't want to lvl up just yet it would be great.

I think the kid budokai thing is the only valid reason really. :\

I'm not sure how easy this would be to implement, but it's not a bad suggestion at all, I've seen this in a few MMORPGs previously, it is pretty useful.

Good suggestion.

Thanks, never really played any other mmo so I didn't know they had this option.

Just think it would be nice if you had a kid for budokai but you could still decide to dbhunt with it or test damage out on some ultras without the fear of lvling up xD

Maybe give people the option to choose their cap level at the creation screen. 30/70
Would be interesting. o.O

Just thought of another good reason where this would be handy, some players like to lvl up and do quests together.

If your friend isn't online at least you can still db hunt and farm for gear without getting ahead of your friends lvl while you wait for him / her to be online.

Good suggestion.

it is hard coded in the gameserver.. if u have a good assembly programmer won't be that hard.

I'm not going to promise anything, Empty promises are pointless, regardless of how easy or hard an implementation is.

  • ^^,
i'd recomend u to talk with whoever is making the game server..

If he's already made the exp gain from mobs then u'd rather assemble than go again c++
If it's not just add the function while u have ur hands on it

You're not following.

I'd rather not promise it, if we don't get around to it.
then, be saying "yes absolutely" to every suggestion.
just "good idea" is enough.
