I'm probably someone with too many hobbies. To list...I write as a hobby quite a bit. I'd like to write a novel one day and I constantly have ideas stirring around in my head. I doubt I'll ever have the motivation to finish something in the near futute, though.I also do a lot of text-based play-by-post role playing. I used to do a lot of Dragon Ball-related stuff, but these days, I primarily write canon comic book characters and do original stuff here and there. I'm currently planning out a robot character that's quickly becoming a headache since I haven't had a computer since I started writing lore for it.I also draw quite a bit. It's mostly comedic stuff and fan art, but I also do my own character designs for my writing. I'm currently working on fleshing out my art style and giving it a bit more of a cartoony "western" aesthetic since I'm not fond of too much anime influence. I'm also working on my art with machinery.I love comics and cartoons, and I don't really care what country they come from. Lately I've been heavy into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure due to a friend's recommendation. I have a huge American comic backlog, though. I've been reading a lot of independently published material lately. I'm all out of American cartoons now and there's nothing on TV anymore, which disappoints me. As a result, I've taken to watching a bit more anime.I also have an extensive collection of American comic books. I don't own too much manga since many of the series I enjoy have never recieved full, official translations. I've got about 80 trades/graphic novels and maybe 400-500 single issues.I collect toys too, and I have a lot of them. My main lines are Transformers and My Little Pony, though I've got a number of Marvel-based figures as well. I'd really like to add more G.I. Joes to my collection along with a few Japanese figures of Dragon Ball and JoJo characters, but I'd like to get a summer job first so I can better afford them. Also, the 18" Gipsy Danger figure based on Pacific Rim.I generally consider myself a herpetoculturist -- someone who keeps reptiles/amphibians as a hobby. I haven't had the opportunity to own too many species due to having parents and the weird state laws that restrict many species' sale here. I plan on getting my first snake this year, though, and hopefully a blue tongue skink as well.
