Thanks, if only I actually had money right now.@Luke[Dumke] Also, nice Towa profile pic.
Quick, now's our chance! Time to buy Sonic 06...Said nobody, ever.
I remember being so hype went i bought that game back then, looked so awesome.T_T
That awkward moment when back in the day, you bought a PS3 for Sonic '06...Funniest thing is, even before Sonic Boom, it wasn't even the worst Sonic game. Not to mention there's no PC version of Sonic '06, other than that independent project where some guy is trying to fix it...
I think the reason Sonic '06 gets such a bad rap in particular (some people whine about it more than Boom still) is because people were actually expecting it to be great. I can't say for sure, as my experience with Sonic as a whole was limited to the older games and comics back in the day, but that's what I've gathered. It's most certainly not the worst Sonic I've ever seen (Triple Trouble for the Gamegear *cough cough*), but I think a lot of people expected it to be great. I sincerely hope that is the case, as the outrage for Sonic Boom, a clearly worse game and without any form of excuse, is nowhere near the outrage towards Sonic '06 to this day, at least from my experience. That being said, still reeeeeaaaaaally tempted to pick up Sonic CD from Steam right now. O.O
Anyways, back on topic. I basically had to play games at my friend's houses and I had a particular friend that was a big Sonic fan so I had the chance to try a lot of Sonic games (mostly the GameCube and Wii releases). I never played Sonic '06, but I watched a gameplay video and it was hilarious. Did they at least test it before releasing? How is that not the worst Sonic game if it's just unplayable?
Also, I have to note the irony of you mentioning the Wii, considering most people seem to say Sonic & the Secret Rings (a Wii exclusive) is worse than Sonic '06.
Because it wasn't unplayable.
Oh, my bad then. That's what I got from most comments/reviews I've read or heard about the game.
They tend to exaggerate it's faults. It's definitely broken, but not to the point of unplayability.Though, Sonic does have a game that I don't think anyone can actually play to completion...Be forewarned, that you will be ever scarred by witnessing this. I had Sonic Riders for Ps2 and that was a fantastic game, I won that game in a ps2 magazine competition, all you had to do was get one of the top 5 best times for the demo level and you won the game, i was 3rd.
But Sonic Free Riders makes one very important game-breaking mistake: It's a Kinect-exclusive title, and the "controls" just plain do not work.I don't think I've ever seen someone make a successful turn on that game even once.
Most of his games have good music , especially the vocal ones .
