Hey. Well it's not really dead it's just that since the developers and staff are doing this without pay, they really can't spend their whole time making the project. In short, don't expect it to come out so soon.... That it will, it will but it will take some time I guess.
rise, gentlemen, it is the pleasant hour.Darkness falls. The night falls.Time, fall no more.Let that be life time falls no more. The threatOf time we in our own courage have forsworn.Let light fall, there shall be eternal lightAnd all the light shall on our heads be wornAlthough at evening clouds infest the skyBroken at base from which the lemon sunPours acid of winter on a useful view-Four water-towers, two churches, and a river:These are the sights I give in to at nightWhen the long covers loose the roving eye.To find the horror of the day a shapeOf life: we would have more than living sight.Past delusions are seen as if it allWere yesterday flooded with lemon light,Vice and virtue, hard sacrifice and crimeIn the cold vanity of time.TomorrowThe landscape will respond to jocund day,Bright roofs will scintillate with hues of MayAnd Phoebus' car, his daily circuit run,Brings me to the year when, my time begun,I loitered in the backyard by the alley; When I was a small boy living at homeThe dark came on in summer at eight o'clockFor Little Lord Fauntleroy in a perfect frockBy the alley: mother took him by the earTo teach of the mixed modes an ancient fear.Forgive me if I am personal.Gentlemen, let'sForget the past, its related errors, coarsenessOf parents, laxities, unrealities of principle.Think of tomorrow. Make a firm postulateOf simplicity in desire and actFounded on the best hypotheses;Desire to eat secretly, alone, lestRitual corrupt our charity,Lest darkness fall and time fallIn a long night when learned arteriesMounting the ice and sum of barbarous timeShall yield, without essence, perfect accident. We are the eyelids of defeated caves.
You expect me to read all that?
About the 812th time I've seen this "card". Lets hit a 1000 shall we...
a long time ago, and they said they just need a little translation and the game not yet released, without updates, I no longer take any more waiting, come DBOR
Never even bothered to look at the front page, did ya?Oh? Tell me about how well your translation, balancing, and rebuild of an MMO is going. For those of you who continue to complain about how long it's taking, and how it isn't done yet, then please... by all means, show me how smart you are by explaining to me what this is. Please... I'll wait.Since you're all such wizards with programming, and are so intelligent and skilled at rebuilding, not slapping together existing code, but rebuilding it to avoid it being shut down by copyright issues, please tell me how easy this shit is to do.You don't even remotely know what this is, do you?
Why do you even bother? We've done this a million times and they will still say these sort of things. Also, once the game is out you will get a bunch of people complaining due to glitches, server crashes, all that sort of stuff. This is only the beginning.

Taking a shot in the dark here, but I'm pretty sure the numbers in blue on the far left are object identifiers. The rows immediately to right probably determines some of the properties of the object. But the last one? No clue.
The last one could tell what textures or where the object would be located.
The blue numbers on the left are actually the location of the data, and generally, in the context of the file displayed (which I'm not gonna reveal quite yet), actually has virtually no meaning (though many files, usually stuff that reads other data, will go berserk if the locations are moved about, which makes sense). The middle numbers and the numbers on the right are actually the same thing. The numbers in the middle are the hex code, the definitions of the file, while the right side is how they're displayed in text code.Still, reasonable guesses, all things considered. But I wonder? Will the people constantly asking if DBOR is dead figure out that THIS is the kind of stuff the dev team frequently has to work with (probably, anyway... maybe they're just putting it together like a jigsaw puzzle, but seeing as how they haven't outright said otherwise, I get the feeling it's a pain in the ass of this level).I'm sure the rest of you probably understood that it's not just a slap together job, but it gets old seeing people constantly trying to say it's dead, especially when it's some defective who repeatedly whimpers about it every single time they make a post (I'm not gonna name names, but you know who they are, I know who they are, and they know who they are.By the way, for the record, when I asked if you knew what that was, I was asking if you could discern the type of file (not the ones who actually responded, but the ones who were trying to imply the project was dead), rather than what the different displays of the hex-editor represented. To the people who simply want to guess what I posted, by all means, go for it. It could be fun, and I don't see you guys making complaints about how long the project is taking, likely because you recognize that programming takes time (or because I'm forgetful as a goldfish). (Not you, Luke. You already know since you asked me last night.)To the people complaining that DBOR isn't up and running yet, then please... you should have no problem figuring out what this file is, right? I mean, obviously programming can't be that difficult, since you seem to know how fast or slow the project should be going at.
I THINK it has something to do with telling the game what files to use for models and shit but not entirely sure. Hex always gives me a headache.
