*day after Pokemon GO releases**pulled over**cop approaches window*"You have to let me go! We're gonna miss it!""Ma'am, calm down, did you know you were speeding?""HOW THE HELL ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO CATCH A naughtyword RAPIDASH?!"*cop turns on siren and escorts me past red lights so we can both catch Rapidash*
I don't want kids getting abducted while trying to catch Pokemon
Nice idea But i also have to agree with @Rock ...pretty sure some sh*t things could happen...like ppl die cuz they didn't watch out by crossing the street or whatever cuz of a damn pokemon. News be like: " 8 year old got hit by car while trying to get a pokemon" But still a nice idea tho. Although the ad is just too much xDDDCome on...we all know how it'll look like. If you don't know...then click on spoiler Spoiler for Hidden:
"8 yrs old kid get hit by car while running back to a Pikachu"
I could maybe make some weird freinds this way .
Dunno. This is pretty cool as a whole, but I guess I'm still a bit disappointed that it's not the next big Pokemon game. After them releasing a big release pretty much every single year since 5th Gen and having a great silence ever since ORaS, I was kinda hoping 8th Gen was going to be a big deal and they were working their butts of trying to make it great. And there was no mention of the game series ending, so I'm pretty sure there will be an 8th gen. But after seeing this as a big announcement...I just really hope this wasn't the only thing they've been working on. It looks kinda cool, but it also looks like it could be a major scam as well (no actual gameplay footage FTW).
There's no 7th gen yet. ORAS is almost a new gen but it can't be since there's no new pokemon, gyms, nor a region. I'd really be disappointed to see this is the only thing they've been working since ORAS but I highly doubt that they're not working already on a 7th gen game and Sinnoh remakes (which I'm itching to play already). They are yet to release Hoopa (I think, not updated with Pokemon news) and Volcanion though. On the other hand, a little something I noticed tells me this might be the last generation. Between XY and ORAS, you can catch all the non-event legendaries and even Deoxis, which is an event pokemon. You can also get one of each generation's starter. I fear Game Freak might be giving them all away because they plan on just doing remakes from now on or something different.I considered Pokemon Online with all generations and stuff in it but I doubt it. I'm quite sure they would've made it already if they wanted to. Mentioning that made me remember someone (I think it was @Luke[Dumke]) linked some sort of comic of what would happen if they release a game of that sort.
Lawwwwdddd if the game is anything like the trailer on the phone screen. I have no use for any other game the rest of my life lol. Would be nice if this could be used with hololens
>Trading a bulbasaur for a vulpixThat little girl got scammed
I kind of thought this was stupid initially, but the fact that it links to the main games intrigues me, because it feels like it's meant to supplement existing content, unlike the shitty mobile game they've already introduced. I'm apprehensive about using my phone for gaming because of all of the penny-pinching mobile games try to pull on you, but Nintendo's usually pretty fair with their price points, so I'm optimistic.
And I think it's fair that they have micro transactions. They need to make money off of it and I people are willing to pay , which there are then I say why not .I won't be one of those people paying but it's a simple as not buying it XDA lot of games are following this micro transactions style now , even phantom pain . So generally it must be making money even if it's annoying for people who don't care .
There's nothing wrong with microtransactions, just the way that microtransactions manage to suck the money out of players. They should be there to provide an additional convenience to the players and not tip the scales in the favor of people with bigger wallets.
