But the movies are canon I thought? Kid Trunks got the sword from Tapion in Wrath of the Dragon.
He got the sword from Gohan the fillers are non-canon so you have to accept that he got the sword from Gohan and not from Tapion. It might confuse a lot of people because there is so many alternative timelines for future trunks could have got that sword. But in the end its still Gohan who gives him his sword. hope i clear it for you.
The Z sword that broke in half releasing Old Kai?Also, look that the handle of the Z sword is yellow/gold and the trunks sword is silver
No, those are two totally different swords.
I'm talking about the sword in Wrath of the Dragon, the one that Tapion has. it's the same one as Future Trunks's.
Idk when he got his sword, but here you can see that he already have it before gohan's death
To be fair, that's a non-canon filler scene, too. :xIn both the manga and the TV special, Trunks isn't depicted with the sword at all until after Gohan's death. That clip is from a weird filler scene that I seem to remember contradicts the TV special/manga chapter. As I stated before, it can't be the same sword, since #18 shatters the blade. I highly doubt she could break a holy sword that younger and much weaker modern-era Trunks sliced Hiredugarn's tail off while in his normal form.Just consider the part in the 13th movie nothing more than an homage. It has no effect on the timeline whatsoever.
Isn't it also said that it's the user who wields the sword as well ?
