Tenkaichi 3 is overrated.Raging Blast 2 is a great game, same for the Budokai games. I'd get the HD collection though. But stay away from Ultimate Tenkaichi. Worst DBZ game ever.
The fighting really is bad. I'd only recommend buying it if you find a deal for $10-15 just for the story mode.
Of the 360 era?Go with the Budokai HD collection. Budokai 3 is by far the best of the DBZ games thus far, and the original Budokai is still pretty good.Burst Limit is like Budokai 3 on crack, but it lacks the sheer massive amount of content Budo 3 has (it only has a handful of characters, and ends with the Cell saga). It's damn pretty though... XDNot to mention the Budokai series is being developed by Dimps, which is the team behind the upcoming Xenoverse.Otherwise, go with Raging Blast 2. It doesn't have a story mode, but it's fairly fun. I haven't played RB1, but I've heard despite a fairly good story mode, the controls and camera make it frustrating to play. You can probably skip Battle of Z and Ultimate Tenkaichi entirely. UT is barely passable because of the custom character, but the gameplay is awful, and BoZ is just plain mediocre offline.Ignore the rest of the Tenkaichi games. The only one worth it's price was Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (not counting the PSP exclusive Tenkaichi Tag Team, which was wisely built off BT2), since BT1 and BT3 were crap.
i am ashamed of the replys here, seriously no one recommended super dbz? scrubcity... it was a vs character development fighting game, raise your power level from fights, and has skill trees and so much replay-ability.it was also ported to the ps2, so super easy to emulate and hella fun to play with friends since vs battles also go towards developing both your characters.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse, Dragon Ball Online Revelations, Dragon Ball Z Raging Blast 1, Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection, Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury, Dragon Ball Z Legacy of Goku 2, and Dragon Ball Z SuperSonic Warriors 1 (I never played 2)
I've tested both Budokai Hd collection and Raging Blast 2. Besides being true tha Raging Blast 2 is missing a storyline, I find the fighting mechanics much more suitable to me. The 3D fighting is just right. Thanks for your oppinion people!
