He definitely says it in Movie 8 (and you can't even say that it wasn't in the Funi dub, as it was surprisingly accurate to the Japanese versions for all three films). He may have said it in movie 10 as well. The line was something like "My power... is rising... Overflowing!!"Mind you, I think it only rises continually while he's in his Legendary form, as he never states it in his normal or SSJ forms.Even if it doesn't rise, given how he was smacking the crap out of the Z-Senshi as is, it's a bit of a moot point.
Well, given that Goku says that Dabura is roughly the same power level as Cell was, it's pretty obvious that SSJ2 wouldn't be equal to or greater than Broly's power level. SSJ2 Gohan during the fight with Cell had a higher level than Super Perfect Cell (he just kept letting down his guard is all).I don't think Broly even bothers to try guarding because of his ridiculous power level. Of course, then again his power level could've increased since he was near death and recovered, so I may be getting a bit off topic in regards to Movie 10.Still, I think Broly is stronger. For the most part, the movie villains tend to be more powerful than the series' villains (which is why half of them had to be dispatched via Genki-dama).You are putting on compelling arguments, though, and I certainly commend that, rather than just belting out fanboy nonsense. It really is tough to say, but I think even had Gohan been SSJ2 at that point he wouldn't have been able to win by himself, if for nothing else than plot reasons.
I agree with this 100%
Mystic Gohan would kill broly easy...
It's Teen Gohan not Mystic Gohan.
Lets not forget about that punch that exploded him, since he got cut as a child there, he had a weakness...
I didn't know about that part. Are you sure that happened? I know he got cut but I don't think that's why Goku was able to punch a hole in his stomach.
